Personally i hate having some sweaty gurning over-excited raver in my face while i am playing.... i like to be able to see the dancefloor, and not be distracted from the task in hand.... there is really not much to see - it is about the sound coming out of the speakers... the audience are the stars, and if they are just leaning over my shoulder....well , it is just boring for all concerned...... and it un-nerves me if people are not dancing, just watching... and yes, i am usually on the dancefloor before or after my set...
