"There is nothing wrong with
your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are in control
of the transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will turn up the volume.
If we want it softer, we will turn it down. We control the horizontal and the
vertical. We can alter the
focus,
to sharpen or distort the picture. For the next hour, we will control all that
you see and hear. Believe me, there is nothing wrong with your television
set. You are about to take an adventure. You are about to experience the awe
which is associated with a journey to - The Outer Limits."
a sixties television series similar
to the
Twilight
Zone but one hour in length. a lot scarier in some respects, but not
as well crafted.

synopsis:
An
alien
prison
ship is sent to Earth. A man and woman break into it's desert landing site.
When the man investigates the
beehive-shaped
spaceship, a large, ant-like alien kills him. A historian, working for
the military, rescues the woman. He brings her back to a military base in a
ghost town. The alien spaceship lands in the town. The ant-like aliens
attack. Some humans are killed, but soon all the alien creatures are dead. Aliens,
via radio from their home planet, thank the military for killing their
criminals for them.

It only takes 1 to shoot that stance to hell ;)
My personal understanding on the situation is not
12/21/
2012=>BANG,
more like a transformation of some sort -possibly on a spiritual global
awakening type thing. Has anyone else seen the episode of Outer Limits(new
ver.) where these kids receive a signal from space, find it intriguing,
play it at "raves" and all start to change. It was a signal to catalyze
a progression of the human form so that it could continue to survive
on the surface of Earth after the
sun
underwent a red shift and became lethal to our old form. Beings
on a distant planet sent it to us because they noticed that our sun
was about to do the same thing theirs did and wanted to prepare us
for it. That's (while about as scientifically likely) the way
I look to our future. If we do not, as a people, become more openly
conscious, learn tolerance, acceptance, forgiveness, and love, we may as
well blow the place up.
